Party of 5

We are now a family of 5.  Benjamin, Katie and Mikey are such wonderful blessings.  Benjamin is sure to keep us on track and on our toes.  While Katie makes it fun and light.  Meanwhile, Mikey smiles his way though it all.  My plan is to be better about sharing pictures of our adventures.  Here are a few to get started.  If you would like any of these photos, lets me know and I will e-mail them to you.  Lots of love to you all!!  ~Rubi

Mikey is always smiling!

Our Second Baby Boy

God blessed us with our Benjamin about 7 years ago and our Katie about 5 years ago. For the last 5 years we had thought that two kiddos was it for us. Until about 6 months ago, I came home and said to Brian, "Maybe one more". A month later, God granted us another miracle.

Brian and I have been very blessed in that we don't have to wait too long before we see a positive on a pregnancy test. Even so, I look at my babies and see miracles in each of them. Three times we have chosen to have a baby and we have brought two beautiful kiddos home and with God's continuing help, we will bring our new baby boy home in November.

Here are a few pictures of him from our last doctors appointment.

Puerto Rico Vacation

We are in El Yunque at Angelito swimming hole. We swam, "rock climbed" and collected rocks. We were here for 2 hours and had this piece of paradise all to ourselves.

The bamboo was so cool. It grows in wide, tall bunches. All the vegetation is very interesting and different from what we have seen before.

On our hike into Angelito.

Playing at the beach. The kids loved playing in the sand and in the water. It was their favorite part of the trip.

At a waterfall in El Yunque. We climbed up some rocks to the waterfall. Our babies love to climb. Makes sightseeing a lot of fun!

One of the beaches we spent time in had a huge amount of sand dollars just off the shore. There were tons of live ones. We got to bring home a few that had hardened for our aquarium.

Our last night of 2 in Rio Grande, Puerto Rico after spending 3 nights in Luqillo/El Yunque. We had a great experience and some excellent family time. We all loved it!
